The WALS Annual Conference attracts educators and researchers from more than 35 countries to share ideas informally, in varied conference sessions, and in research lessons. In alternate years (2026, 2028,…) the Annual Conference is virtual. Face-to-face conferences (2027, 2029…) have taken place in 10 countries around the world, hosted by educators who want to share their lesson study work with an international audience.
